Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's what you need to know.

⚠️ Heads up: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your cloud-synced data will be removed within 30 days of your request.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your CricScorer account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your verified profile (email, phone number, @username)
  • Your cloud-synced match history and statistics
  • Your global player registry entry and career statistics
  • Your team memberships and associated cloud data
  • Your push notification tokens
  • Any Premium subscription linkage (note: subscriptions must be cancelled separately via Google Play)

What Is NOT Deleted

The following data is stored locally on your device and is not affected by account deletion:

  • Local match data stored on your device (SQLite database)
  • Locally saved scorecard images in your device gallery
  • Team and player data that was never synced to the cloud

To remove local data, you can uninstall the App from your device after deleting your account.

How to Delete Your Account

Open CricScorer on your device
Make sure you are signed in to the account you wish to delete.

Go to Profile Settings
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom navigation bar, then tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner of the screen.

Find "Delete Account"
Scroll down to the "Account" section. Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the settings list.

Confirm your identity
You may be asked to re-verify your identity (e.g., enter your OTP or re-authenticate with Google) before deletion can proceed.

Confirm deletion
Read the confirmation dialog carefully and tap "Delete Permanently" to confirm. Your account deletion will be queued and processed within 30 days.

Request Deletion via Email

If you are unable to access the App or have difficulty following the in-app steps, you can request account deletion by emailing us directly:

Include: Your registered email address or @username in the App.

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it and send a confirmation email once completed.

Cancel Your Premium Subscription

If you have an active Premium subscription, please cancel it separately through Google Play before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

  • Open the Google Play Store app
  • Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  • Find CricScorer Premium and tap Cancel subscription
